Little bit of news. I know I've been excited since I got my glasses and so I'm writing again. Still am! I got chapters seven and eight up of Equestria Broken recently.

However, I've looked back on my story and every time I try to reread it for myself I get the super cringe so I've been thinking... If I get the cringe from reading my own story what's to encourage people to read it? Well, nothing to be honest. I know I LOVE my characters (If I didn't I wouldn't have gotten a $500 plushie of Clout lol) and I know exactly where I want my story to go but the way I'm writing is what I don't like. With that I've decided to, yet again, do a rewrite. I want it to be perfect this time. The story itself wont change, at all, just the style of my writing will. At the suggestion of a good friend I have started to delve into the writing style of first person instead of third. I have honestly never written in first person before and I'm not sure what I'm doing exactly. I have rewritten the first chapter, splitting it in two to make for easier reading, and I notice I keep doing past tense instead of current tense. Whoops lol So I'm going to post the first chapter (Now the first two) and y'all tell me what you think. I'm going to continue on with the rewrite and then get your feedback in order with the edits before I post any more. Also, I finally decided on a proper name for it instead of the random nonsense I was using. Rather then Equestria Broken, it is now MLP : Shattered Heart. It's a double entendre. One is the crystal heart from the Crystal Empire has been shattered, second is Clout himself. I thought it was clever lol

Also, I finally worked out a story for my oldest OC, Tigermon. Once a Gatomon recolor from Digimon but over the years he has changed into his own creature. I had an idea rolling around in my head, fleshing it out but I wasn't exactly sure how to start. I had trouble trying to figure out how to get my digidestend from the human world to the digital world. I was thinking some kind of power surge at the mall or something because they're all different economic classes that go to very different schools but I didn't really like that idea. With the suggestion of first person, I knew where I wanted to begin. The first chapter should have just been posted hopefully (The internet's down for everyone in the county so everyone's using cellphone internet which is bogging down the speed. I'm lucky this post went through). It's called Digimon : Contrary Forces.

So, it's been a while. My thumb is doing better though I still have no sensation of touch on the palm side of my thumb so grabing / holding things is weird. I keep dropping things which is annoying. I can't hold anything wider than a soda can without dropping it which is also annoying. I can't reach the buttons or joystick on controllers so I can't play my oculus games that I want to. No, the feature that follows your hands instead of controllers does not work on my favorite game. Good news though, in just a couple weeks I'll be picking up my prosthetic thumb so hopefully that'll help.

I've got two new rats. Both intact males younger than my current mischief. They need to be neutered before I can put them with the rest of the gang but I have already introduced them to my other two neutered boys. They're working on pecking order issues but they've been slowly figuring it out. No bloodshed yet. I'm hoping that trend continues. They go to get neutered this weekend.

I finally went to the eye doctor because I got so frustrated at not being able to read road signs while driving. Apparently my eyes are atrocious which explained why I couldn't handle reading things on the computer or my phone for long. Even books strained my eyes so I havne't read anything proper in a very long time. My new glasses work WONDERS and I freaking love them. That's why I've been able to finally get the next two chapters of Equestria Broken out so quickly.

I tried drawing again. It honestly was kind of difficult considering my dominant thumb is missing. I think that's kinda out for me maybe. I'll try again after I have my robot thumb but it was frustrating to keep a good grip on the pen I might just have to stick to writing stories over drawing. We'll see.

That's all the news I can think of. I'm gunna go work on chapter nine. Toodles.

So, I haven't drawn in forever but I'm not dead. I know I have abandoned DA since they changed to Eclipse. Still can't figure out this stupid layout for the life of me. I guess I'm just not one for changes, eh. Whatever.

Anyway, I have been doing some things. I live over on Wattpad now trying to revive my old stories like Dragon's End : Grey's Journey and such. I'm just doing all of them that I've ever started. Like, ALL of them. It's a slow process cause I wrote most of them in grade school and highschool and they're full of grammar errors or just don't make sense so I'm having to fix them all like I had to with Equestria Broken (Which is also over there) so it's taking a minute. Yes, I am working on EB chapter 7. Got the layout written out for it, just have to write the detail stuff cause I know where I'm going with it since I finally have a plan so no, that's not dead either.

I have all the stories started but not published and there's like, ten of them I have to do. All the chapters are there but only for me to go through and edit before I put them up for public view. I have one of my newer ones up, Wildcat Hubris, if anyone wants to take a meander at it. There's only a couple chapters posted so far and it's kind of just about lions. No, it's not a Lion King fanfic in any way, shape or form. I'm also thinking of trying a Duskwood fanfiction but after reading a few of what some others have done, I've got to go in a completely different direction cause most everyone does the same thing when it comes to that. If I'm actually going to do that, that is.

There's also a link on my Wattpad profile to a Google Doc collection with all of the comics that I've ever done. Some have never been posted anywhere, some have. All of the old Grey's Journey are there too. Some of the pages were admittedly lost in transition of broken computers in the past but I did find the old sketch pages so that worked. I read through the old comic, I hate it. Doesn't make sense but then what does when you're a kid lol.

So, chapter 6 is done and up. Please don't hate me because Wulf's speech sounds like it COULD be relevant to current real world events. It's not, trust me. I wrote that damned thing years ago in my head many times over just to make sure he got his points across to Clout.

I would love to edit all the previous chapter's author notes to put the links to next and previous chapters but I have NO IDEA how in the world to edit the author's notes. I hit the edit button and it takes me to the literature editor. I can't get to the author's notes place to edit them. I HATE eclipse and I wish they would fix the damned thing! UGH!

I'm gunna go play video games for the next couple days before I start writing the next chapter. I do actually need to replay that part in the game Thief when Garrett has to go into the place where they burn the bodies to steal the ring off the corpse cause that's next in the story. If you hadn't noticed, Equestria Broken's a mash up of MLP and the video game Thief. I know he's not infused with magical powers but that will come in a couple chapters, just wait...

Yes! Chapter five is finally finished! It's amazing how much you can get done on a chapter when you are living on your own and have no one to interrupt you. Also, very pleasant surprise, this new DeviantArt layout lets me post chapters with a butt ton of words in it unlike the last one. I was able to post this chapter fully complete without having to split it! Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to edit the author's notes part cause after I found that out I wanted to be all excited about it but couldn't figure out how to write it on there. I could only edit the chapter part. Oh well. At least it's posted.
